Our Vision
The vision of Lighthouse is to serve unreached/undeveloped communities by fostering dignity, independence, and sustainability. We're not here to save the world, Jesus already did, we aim to come alongside and empower communities through biblical teaching, vocational training, and networking with Him at the center of it all. We've been given a heart for seeing the body of Christ thrive and grow in all nations and believe that starts with genuine partnership. Our formula is simple: an identity rooted in Christ (both at an individual and community level), leveraging of readily available opportunity and resource (locally pertinent small businesses, subsistence farming, etc.), and building up communities around the church.
Meet The Team
My name is Chandler Puckett, and in October of 2024 I accepted a call into full-time missions. Over the next six months, I prepared for and completed my Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), which culminated in my first outreach—a two month mission in Uganda.
Throughout my life, God has been weaving a story of redemption, grace, and calling. But since stepping into full-time ministry, I’ve seen Him move in especially intentional ways—guiding me to use my own testimony and life experiences to encourage and disciple others in their walk with Christ.
My purpose, and the foundation of Lighthouse, is to help as many people as possible encounter the same radical love of Jesus that changed my life forever. Whether it’s through missions, discipleship, or simply walking alongside others in everyday life, my prayer is that people would come to know His love in a way that transforms them from the inside out.

Missions Partnership (YWAM)
We are currently under the organizational care of Youth With A Mission (YWAM). YWAM is an amazing organization that we're extremely proud to partner with. This organization is built on equipping and releasing youth into the mission field which runs perfectly parallel with our heart for mentoring and discipling youth. Partnering with YWAM allows us to pour into the next wave of missionaries and develop in the specific ministry we feel called into, all while studying and participating in our own outreaches.
Base of Operations (YWAM Sunshine Coast)
I chose YWAM Sunshine Coast as my base for a number of reasons. For one, it came highly recommended by trusted friends and mentors. It also is the home of the Bible school I'll be attending from September 2025 to June 2026. And lastly the target nations for this base are where I feel called for field work (Specifically East Africa).
Ministry Focuses
Community Development

Wherever God has me at any given moment my main objective is to build community. In my experience there's no more effective way to disciple than to earn the chance to speak into someone's life through selfless love and building intentional relationships.

Hospital/Prison Ministry
Through my own experience, God has given me a special heart for people in extreme circumstances, especially prisons. There's nothing better to me than watching someone who's lost everything realize they have all they need.
I learned the importance of service to others in a season where my life depended on it and that lesson has directly translated into one of my favorite types of ministry in this season. From serving meals to digging Latrines, service to others is a foundational form of ministering to others
